ADVANCED IN THE DIAGNOSIS OF BRUCELLOSIS IN MAN AND OTHER ANIMALS

Abstract

The paper discusses the following methods of diagnosis of brucellosis: Isolation and subsequent cultivation of Brucella -- hemoculture, cultivation with milk, inoculation of laboratory animals, storage of isolated Brucella; Serological tests -- agglutination tests, complement fixation tests, surface fixation, fluorescent antibodies, label (tag) tests, milk tests, and allergy tests.
