FRACTIONATION OF PLASMA PROTEINS BY PHENOL AND AMMONIUM SULFATE,

Abstract

Phenol has the property of modifying the solubilities of different proteins during their graining by ammonium sulphate. The method described facilitates the separation of several groups of proteins by varying only the phenol and ammonium sulphate concentrations. (Author)
