ATTENUATION MEASUREMENT IN THE MICROWAVE RANGE (POMIARY ILUMIENYA W ZAKRESIE MIKROFAL),

Abstract

The operating principle of an accurate system for attenuation measurement in the microwave range is described. It makes use of the method of substituting a low-frequency attentuator and a line frequency conversion. An analysis of the true accuracy of the system is presented, and the effect of the properties of individual elements of the system on measurement accuracy is thoroughly discussed. The experimental results achieved in an accurate measurement system operating in an X band are shown. (Author)
