PRACTICAL POSSIBILITIES IN THE DESIGN AND REALIZATION OF SOLID-STATE N-CHANNEL FILTERS (PRAKTISCHE MOGLICHKEITEN DES ENTWURFS UND DER REALISIE-RUNG VON N-KANAL-FILTERN IN FESTKORPERTECHNIK),

Abstract

The present article outlines the theory of the N-channel filter and reports the results of tests designed to study the basic properties of the filter. The new method of band filter synthesis described has the advantage that a deep pass-filter becomes converted into a band filter. It can be electrically tuned by changes in the frequency of the control pulse generator. At the same time, the shape of the passband curve remains unchanged. The authors conclude with the remark that in view of the existence of the side registers and other necessary auxiliary circuits all conditions are satisfied for a successful use of the above mentioned N-channel filters within the framework of solid state circuit technology.
