EUROMECH 9 - A EUROPEAN COLLOQUIUM ON THE DYNAMICS OF RAREFIED GASES.

Abstract

A summary of the papers presented at EUROMECH 9, a European colloquium on the dynamics of rarefied gases, is presented. The presentations fall into the general areas of kinetic theory, gas dynamics, and gas-surface interactions. A brief summary of each paper is given, and an appraisal of the overall European effort in rarefied gas dynamics research, relative to that in the US, is presented. (Author)
