MOLECULAR BEAM KINETICS GROUP IN ENGLAND.

Abstract

A description is given of an informal group of chemists and engineers in the UK who are engaged in chemical kinetics research using molecular beam methods. Membership is composed of representatives from academic institutions, government research establishments, and industry. The research activities of the group fall into the categories of elastic and inelastic (particularly reactive) scattering, high pressure gas sampling systems, and gas-surface interactions. A summary of the current research activities of each group is presented. (Author)
