CONTROLLED VARIABILITY OF ANTHRAX MICROBES FOR THE PURPOSES OF OBTAINING THE VACCINE

Abstract

An attempt was made to test the immunogenic properties of modified anthrax strains during the first stage of work in the exploration of a safer anthrax vaccine. The second stage will include the study of the stable properties of the strains obtained. These problems are important because only the preservation of the constancy of biological properties of microbe insures their practical value as vaccinal strains.
