RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF MICROWAVE TUBES AND DEVICES.

Abstract

Contents: Computer Experiments on Beam Generated Plasmas. A final technical report on this project is now in preparation. Electron Beam Interactions with Semiconductors. Studies on the field dependence of the drift mobility of electrons in indium antimonide are reported. Amplification in Acoustic Transducers. Some new experiments are reported from which we gained a better understanding of the physical mechanism responsible for effects of an apparent acoustic amplification with applied dc voltage.
