DETERMINATION OF THE INCLINATION OF THE QUASI-GEOCENTRIC COORDINATE SYSTEM WITH THE AID OF ARTIFICIAL EARTH SATELLITES, (WYZNACZENIE NACHLENIA QUASIGEOCENTRYCZNEGO UKLADU WSPOLRZEDNYCH PRZY POMOCY SZTUCZNYCH SATELITOW ZIEMI),

Abstract

The area of the polygon of contemporary space triangulation may serve as another example of a quasi-geocentrical system. The directions of sides of that network, of the borders of a polygon, are defined with respect to the axis of the single geocentrical system during the process of carrying out the said space triangulation by making photographs against a background of stars of a moving visible object, presently, of the artificial Earth satellite. Thus, the method of the space triangulation itself provides the possibility of a proper spatial orientation of the axis oxyz system, in which the coordinates of all marked points of the network are expressed.
