ANALOG COMPUTER OF THE DEPARTMENT OF CONTROL THEORY,

Abstract

This paper describes a medium-sized analog computer designed at the Silesian Polytechnic Institute for dynamic analysis of complex industrial-control systems. The computer contains 32 operational amplifiers without automatic nullpoint stabilization. It also contains elements for the simulation of common nonlinearities (saturation, blacklash, relay) and elements for the simulation of sampled data controllers. The transients can be observed on a long-luminosity cathode ray oscillograph and recorded with an automatic pen.
