INVESTIGATION OF GRAPHITE FILAMENT REINFORCED EPOXIES.

Abstract

The report covers a combined experimental-analytical investigation of high modulus graphite filament reinforced epoxies. Results of a thorough characterization of the graphite filaments and epoxies are presented. A discussion is given of the failure mode of the composites, and the effect of voids on composite behavior is assessed. (Author)
