Abstract

The inoculum with the mixed vaccine of typhus, paratyphus A and B produced local and general reactions which were not as violent as those produced with simple vaccine (amount of bacillus 1/8 of mixed vaccine). In animals which were inoculated with mixed vaccine, it was established that inoculum with mixed vaccine not only lent protective power against typhus but also against paratyphus A and B.
