EXPLORATORY DEVELOPMENT ON COUPLING SCHEMES FOR PLASMA AMPLIFIERS.

Abstract

The report contains experimental details for a microwave amplifier. Results on a gap coupler and a plasma immersed helical coupler are given. An analysis of the TM sub 010 mode in a cylindrical cavity filled with an axially varing plasma is present. Also two experiments were constructed to test coupling schemes for plasma amplifiers.
