PERT MODELS OF RECONNAISSANCE TASKS.
Abstract
The document shows how to apply the principles of PERT to any reconnaissance task. The reasons for using PERT and the techniques of how to use PERT as a management tool are explained in the section entitled 'Discussion.' Information necessary to assemble and organize a PERT committee for a particular task or mission is given in the section entitled 'Basic Instruction on How to PERT an Activity.' The remainder of this document consists of PERT models. Each model shows an existing reconnaissance task on a PERT chart with a descriptive scenario and a time rationale. (Author)
