LINEAR AMPLIFIER DESIGN AND LINEAR INTEGRATED CIRCUITS.

Abstract

Through the utilization of the functional matrix description of linear integrated circuits, a design method is evolved from which the terminating admittances may be specified. These terminating admittances are optimized with respect to power gain for a stable device and optimized with respect to power gain for a specified stability level. The total input and output conductances are obtained for use in frequency response design. Finally the procedure is extended to include the case in which a not optimum conductance is forced on the designer. (Author)
