SOLID-STATE CONTROLLED BATTERY-LOAD SIMULATOR,

Abstract

A battery-load simulator is described which programs resistive loads in accordance with a predetermined time-load sequence. The programming is accomplished by silicon controlled rectifiers that are switched on and off by digital logics. The simulator was used to program loads over a period of 45 minutes with discrete loadings as short as 0.1 second. A brief background and operational procedures are presented. (Author)
