The Propagation of Long Electric Waves in Magnetized Plasma and Their Passage Through Plasma Layers (Ueber Die Ausbreitung Langer Elektrischer Wellen in Magnetisierten Plasmen und Ihren Durchgang Durch Plasmaschichten)

Abstract

The propagation of electromagnetic waves in damped plasmas at low frequencies is discussed. The plasma acts as a conductor when there is no magnetic field and propagation occurs transverse to the magnetic field. The plasma also will behave as a conductor with propagation along the magnetic field.
