ETIOLOGY OF EPIZOOTIC ENCEPHALITIS OF THE RABBIT, IN ITS RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF LETHARGIC ENCEPHALITIS ENCEPHALITOZOAN CUNICULI (NOV. SPEC.)

Abstract

A study was made of the morphological aspect of Encephalitozoan cuniculi and its relationships with encephalic or nephritic lesions. The Encephalitozoan cuniculi, etiological agent of spontaneous group of Microsporidias. The Encephalitozoan cuniculi is a sporozoa belonging to the underclass of Neosporidias, order of the Haplosporidias. The epizootic infection of the rabbit and of the mouse is a Microsporidiosa, with a cerebral or renal localization.
