DIFFERENTIATION OF ANIMAL POX VIRUSES IN THE INCUBATED HEN'S EGG

Abstract

Despite lengthy research in this field, a positive qualitative differentiation of individual animal pox viruses is not possible. A method was developed for the differentiation of animal pox viruses based on the incubated chicken egg. Since it has proved itself during the last few years, and since it may be a valuable aid in special laboratories, the experimental data on which it rests are described in this report.
