KNOWLEDGE OF THE SPECIFICITY OF DEHYDROGENASES

Abstract

The report states that slower Mb decoloration upon addition of pyrotartaric acid to the system Mb - succinic dehydrogenase, compared to Mb decoloration upon addition of succinic acid to the same system, is due to a difference in hydrogen activation rather than to dissimilarities in fixation of substrate.
