TABLES OF POLYNOMIALS FOR GRADUATION BY MITSCHERLICH'S EQUATION

Abstract

Pimental Gomes and Malavolta (1949) indicated a procedure for graduating experimental data by Mitscherlich's equation according to the method of least squares, which is equivalent, in the case of interest here, to the method of maximum likelihood. Unhappily, however, the procedure was quite laborious. This report presents a series of six tables of functions which permit rapid and precise graduation.
