MICROWAVE ACOUSTIC AND BULK DEVICE TECHNIQUE STUDIES.

Abstract

The objectives of the contract are: to advance new theory and techniques of microwave acoustic, magnetoelastic and bulk semiconductor devices for application to radar, communications, and instrumentation systems. This investigation presently includes the following projects: Thin Film Transducers; Acoustic Parametric Amplification; Periodic Ferrite Devices; Adiabatic Magnetoelastic Conversion in the Time Domain; Guided Acoustic Waves; Magnetically Dependent Sound Wave Interactions.
