INFECTIOUS DISEASES AS OCCUPATIONAL DANGER FOR PERSONS IN MEDICAL AND NURSING FACILITIES,

Abstract

Compared to the entire field of accident insurance, which is regulated by law in Germany, this report actually involves only a numerically very modest portion of the wide range of injuries that are subject to reporting and that are closely connected with jobs and occupations. More than 33,000 persons suffered specific damage to their health in 1958, in other words, they contracted occupational diseases as a result of their activities. (Author)
