SURVEY OF HEAT PIPES,
Abstract
The state of the art of heat pipe technology is reviewed. The review includes a discussion of the theory to predict heat pipe performance as well as current techniques for their manufacture. The limited experimental testing and application to date is also discussed and proposed future applications are presented. The references, supplemented by a bibliography of related papers provide the most complete and comprehensive listing or applicable literature known to date. (Author)
