FUNGICIDAL ACTIVITY OF SOME AROMATIC DERIVATIVES OF DICHLORACETAMIDE,

Abstract

The effect of dichloracetamide (DAA) and its 24 aromatic derivatives on 5 phytopathogenic fungus cultures has been studied. Some preparations show fungicidal activity which is related to their chemical structure. The activity increases when in DAA hydrogen is substituted by phenyl and in the most degree when the para-, and meta-positions of phenyl are substituted by chlorine and some other electro-negative substitutes. Some theoretical considerations of the data obtained are presented. (Author)
