Abstract
The article describes an electronic analog computer. The types, numbers, and characteristics of the computer units are given, and an overall view and photographs of the essential components are presented in the original article. The components described are: a Z-02 one-way computing precision amplifier with automatic zero compensation; an operational amplifier; a diode transformer of single-value functions; a diode voltage limiter; an electronic differential relay; a servomechanical quadruple multiplier of functions; an impedance unit; an electronic pulse-timing multiplier; and a single-revolution linear ratio-potentiometer of 50 k omega. The computer is designed for solving linear and nonlinear differential equations, electronic simulation of regulated systems for the purpose of determining an optimal control utilizing a digital computer.
