WAVEGUIDE, WAVEGUIDE CIRCUITS AND ANTENNA RESEARCH STUDY.

Abstract

Theoretical expressions were derived for the field strength, radiation pattern shape and gain of a rectangular beam waveguide slot antenna. The gain, radiation Q and radiation pattern shape predicted from the theory were compared with measured values obtained from an experimental antenna. Good agreement between theory and measurement was obtained for the antenna gain, but agreement was obtained for only a limited range of angles of the radiation pattern. (Author)
