BROADBAND LATCHING SWITCHES AND CIRCULATORS.

Abstract

Work during this period was concentrated on reducing the switching energy of the 1.0 - 2.0 GHz and the 2.0 - 4.0 GHz latching circulators. Several external return path configurations were developed to lower the switching energy while maintaining maximum bandwidth. The work done on the 7.0 - 10.0 GHz waveguide circulator consisted of frequency scaling the X-band design to the lower frequency range and larger waveguide size. (Author)
