EVALUATION OF VHF OF LORAN-C DATA.

Abstract

The report describes and summarizes the results of an experiment in which Loran signals are relayed through a VHF data link to a conventional Loran receiver. Loran signals are received at a field transponder, amplified and inputed to a VHF FM transmitter as modulation, transmitted to a remote location where the VHF signal is demodulated and inputed to a Loran-C receiver as a normally received pulse train.
