COMPUTER TECHNIQUES FOR IMPLEMENTING LINEAR CONTROL SYSTEM DESIGN USING ALGEBRAIC METHODS.

Abstract

Design of linear control systems is examined using algebraic methods. Previous work indicates that the system describing equations are nonlinear. Various combinations of feedback and cascade compensated systems are analyzed using velocity constant, bandwidth and complex root specifications. Methods for linearizing these system equations are demonstrated and examples are solved using specific digital computer programs. Feasibility of a general computer program is discussed. (Author)
