TRAINING HAS BECOME MORE INTENSIVE,

Abstract

This article discusses the new type of training given tank crews in one of the sections of the Moscow Military District. The new type of training includes systematic, persistent work on tank simulators, diagrams, instructional wall sheets, cut-away stands, part-indicating devices for assemblies and components of the vehicle, and other devices as well. The authors state that the role of the simulator has become more important in relation to the reduction of training time and that simulators have helped the student to develop to the point of being an automaton in the techniques of changing gear and of turning and stopping the tank.
