CHICOM AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION AS A MILITARY POTENTIAL

Abstract

The importance of the agricultural industry to the Chicom economy can be plainly shown with several indicators. (As of 1963, the percentage of people engaged in the primary industry in Japan was 28.1) moreover, Takung Pao, 11 December 1961, indicated the importance of agricultural industry. It stated, 'Eighty per cent of daily goods of the entire people are directly or indirectly derived from agriculture.
