Abstract
The mission of the Activity is to plan, conduct, and report on engineering tests of equipment for general use throughout the Army; to plan, conduct, and report on service, check, military potential, and confirmatory tests and evaluations of equipment used by technical support units and equipment for general use throughout the Army; to plan, conduct, and report on Logistics-Over-The-Shore (LOTS) and Movement Adaptability (MOVAD) phases of tests on selected equipment; to conduct engineer design, product improvement, production, surveillance, renovation, and other tests and tests in support of research and development; to assist in the planning and conduct of and to provide support for environmental tests and operations as directed; and to plan, direct, and control a research and development program for test instrumentation, test facilities, and test methodology needed to support current and future test requirements within assigned mission area. Abstracts of formal technical reports published during the fiscal year by USAGETA, as well as listings of informal letter reports, are contained in the bibliography. The reports are cross-referenced by test number, project area number, and title.
