STUDIES ON THE MECHANISM OF ANTIBODY FORMATION WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO ANTIBODY PRODUCTION PROMOTING FACTOR (A.P.P.). PART . INFLUENCE OF THE A.P. P. ON THE COMPLEMENT FIXING ANTIBODY PRODUCTION IN RABBITS

Abstract

A study was made on the influence of the A.P.P. to the complement fixing antibody formation in rabbits, and the following result was observed: When the A.P.P. was injected into rabbits with antigen, it promoted significantly the production of complement fixing antibody against typhus organism extract and prolonged its latency period greatly in comparison with control.
