THE EFFECT OF STRUCTURE AND FOUNDATION INTERACTION UPON SHOCK TRANSMISSION,

Abstract

The purpose of the report is to determine the magnitude of errors which may occur when the record of the foundation motion of a particular structure is used to determine the response of other dissimilar structures. An analysis of the effect of several structural and foundational parameters upon these errors are made.
