FUNDAMENTALS AND LIMITATIONS OF CYCLONE DUSTING

Abstract

The paper discusses the following topics: Degree of dust deposit and grain dimension curve; Ideal cyclone dusting procedure; Dependence of the calculated degree of deposit on entering velocity, viscosity of the carrying gas, dust fineness and volumetric weight, cyclone construction measurement and dust rotation number in the cyclone; disturbance effect; Grain composition of the separated and escaped dust; and Cyclone connection in series or in parallel.
