THE KINETIC ENERGY OF IONIZED MOLECULE FRAGMENTS. V. ON A CHARGE DISSOCIATION PROCESS IN THE CO2 MASS SPECTRUM,

Abstract

Kinetic energies of O(+) and CO(+) formed in the decomposition of CO2(++) were measured. From the measured energy distribution functions for both ions it is concluded that a transition energy of 5.5 eV is involved. (Author)
