MAGNETIC Q-FACTORS OF PARAMAGNETIC MASER CRYSTALS (DOBROC MAGNETYCZNA MASEROWYCH KRYSTALOW PARAMAGNETYCZNYCH),

Abstract

Calculations of the magnetic quality factor of paramagnetic maser crystals were carried out. The results show that the magnitude of this factor depends on many other factors and, consequently, is affected in various ways. Maser crystals with the least possible quality factor value can be obtained by increasing the capacity duty factor, by increasing the pumping frequency, or by increasing the spin-spin relaxation time. The quality factor values obtained in various maser systems range from 10 to 1000, but the mean value is on the order of 100.
