GEODETICAL APPLICATIONS OF THE 'HUNOR 131' CALCULATOR (A HUNOR 131 GEODIZIAI ALKALMAZASA),

Abstract

The Hunor 131 electronic desk computer was introduced in 1966. The device is fully transistorized, operates at 220 V, weighs 23 kg., has dimensions of 51 x 48 x 23 cm., consumes 95 Watts, has 11 digit keys and 11 operational keys. It can add, subtract, divide, and multiply, and perform combined operations based on these. It has a capacity of 13 digits. Its geodetic applications include the calculation of the directional tangent, area calculations, resection, presection, and the like. It is not suitable for calculations involving the summation of partial products. A new model with increased capacity is under development.
