PRESSURE LOSS STUDY E-SERIES BOOSTER FUEL,

Abstract

The new configuration of the 'E' Series fuel booster plumbing made it mandatory to investigate the flow characteristics of the fuel system. Problem areas studied were: pressure loss effects on engine pump net positive suction head requirements, occurrence of vortexing in the new outlets, and pressure surge characteristics of the ducting.
