IMPACT PREDICTOR ERROR ANALYSIS,

Abstract

The purpose of this report is to establish the errors in impact prediction for a predictor utilizing the Azusa tracker. In order to reduce the number of parameters, typical burnout conditions for an ICBM (5500 n. miles) and an IRBM (1500 n. miles) were introduced. The method used for analyzing errors was the use of the total differential of a function of several variables, i.e., the error in impact resulting from an error in each of the measured parameters.
