A Monte Carlo Description of the Passage of Positrons through Solid Materials.

Abstract

The report describes a computer code using Monte Carlo techniques to determine transmission factors for positrons penetrating solid materials. The code is based upon the open literature treatment of energy loss and small-angle scattering for fast, charged particles. Computational results of the code are discussed, and a FORTRAN listing is included. (Author)
