Thermostat for Low Temperatures and its Application in the Comparison of Thermoelements.

Abstract

The lowest attainable temperature of the thermostat is that of the cooling agent contained in the outer glass vessel. The thermostat has been used predominantly with liquid air as refrigerant and with petroleum ether as immersion liquid. The accurate temperature is always attained by means of the electric heating arrangement. (Author)
