Hugoniot Data on Several Materials.

Abstract

The Hugoniot equation of state was established for several materials; quartz transducers were used to obtain data where the transmitted pressure to the quartz was below 30 kilobars and the cross Hugoniot technique sas used for higher pressures. Least square fits of the experimental data are given for copper, brass aluminum, boron nitride and carbon phenolic mixtures. (Author)
