Extension of Frequency Control to the Infrared Region.

Abstract

Experimentation has been performed toward the phase-locking of a far infrared hydrogen cyanide (HCN) laser. Investigations of linewidth and other experimental parameters have also been made. A deliverable laser and associated equipment are nearing completion. Variations of the phase-locking scheme are described for future study. (Author)
