Microwave Acoustic and Bulk Device Techniques Studies.

Abstract

The objectives of the work are: to advance new theory and techniques of microwave acoustic, magnetoelastic and bulk semiconductor devices for application to radar, communications, and instrumentation systems. This investigation presently includes the following projects: Thin film transducers; Acoustic parametric amplification; Adiabatic magnetoelastic conversion in the time domain; Guided acoustic waves; Magnetically dependent sound wave interactions.
