On the Problem of Entropy Increase.
Abstract
The density operators characterizing the fine-particle and the coarse particle statistical many-particle systems, respectively, indicate that the entropy of the former does not increase while that of the latter increases until a maximum corresponding to the thermodynamic equilibrium is attained.
