Abstract

The XM177E2 submachine gun was used as a launch device to gather exterior ballistic behavior data on the M-193 (ball) and M-196 (tracer) projectiles. Various lots of ammunition and suppressors were used in the tests. Some preliminary results of these tests are presented and discussed. (Author)
