Design, Development, and Testing of a Pulse Flow Calibration System.

Abstract

In this report, the development of a pulse flowmeter calibration system for use with nitrogen tetroxide is reviewed. It consists of a closed tubing racetrack with a test flowmeter in one straightaway and a pair of pistons in the other. The pistons are driven by a ball screw and velocity servomechanism. The calibration procedure is accomplished remotely. The calibration and testing of the system is covered, and recommendations for improvements are made. (Author)
