Biochemical Indices in Cultivation of Foot-And-Mouth Disease Virus.
Abstract
This translation is a report on a study of the dynamics of nitrogen and phosphorous exchange and the pH medium in the cultivation of foot-and-mouth virus in a suspension of large horned cattle kidneys. Thirty-two tests were performed to study the biochemical processes occuring in suspensions of infected and controlled cells. Significant shifts in the indices of nitrogen and phosphorous exchange occur in a cultivation of foot-and-mouth virus in a suspension of large horned cow kidneys. Shifts in the pH medium to the acid side are more noticeable in the control suspension than in the infected suspension. (Author)
